Burnsall VA Primary School is situated the picturesque village of Burnsall adjacent to the River Wharfe. Founded in 1602 by William Craven, our beautiful school building has been used to educate children for more than 400 years. For more information on our historic building please click on the Trustees link.

Accommodating children from the wider local area, our small school consists of two classrooms where through an exciting and stimulating curriculum, our children are taught to strive for excellence.

As well as the outstanding local environment around us, our school also has a library, hall, large playground and grassed area which we use to enhance the learning opportunities of our children. We are also lucky enough to have our own kitchen where we provide scrumptious home cooked meals and are able to provide our own ‘Breakfast Club’ before school.

You are warmly invited to visit the school to experience the quality and breadth of education here and if you require further information please contact our school office.
